Tim and Pru take to the helm to explore more waterways.

Timothy West and Prunella Scales return to the Oxford Canal, the waterway where they first fell in love with boating more than 40 years ago. Aboard their own boat, they travel north from Banbury, heading for the old canal port of Braunston, joined by their daughter Juliet and sons Sam and Joe. As they navigate their way through the beautiful Cherwell Valley, Tim and Pru look back at some their favourite voyages on the inland waterways of Britain and Ireland. As well as remembering great moments of joy and wonder, the voyage is tinged with sadness given the recent deterioration in Pru's dementia.

Timothy West and Prunella Scales share some memories of their canal journeys overseas, including their first trip, which was to France on the Nivernais Canal. Tim is reminded of the time he tried to park his boat in Venice, at St Mark's Square, and the couple reminisce over a moonlit gondolier trip down the Grand Canal. Having successfully mastered the waterways of Europe, Tim and Pru then set forth on even more ambitious and remote journeys across the world - to India, Canada, Argentina and a trip down the Nile.
