On the centenary of his birth, and on the eve of the release of the 22nd James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, former Bond girl Joanna Lumley investigates the life of Ian Fleming. Her journey takes her from London to Jamaica, and sees her surrounded by 24 million pounds' worth of diamonds, as she discovers how Fleming poured his personal experiences of war-time espionage, love, luxury and death into his most alluring literary creation.
