The fusion of the Maya construction technique with the new elements of central Mexico make Chichen-Itza one of the most important examples of the Mayan-Toltec civilization in Yucatan; It is the Mayan city par excellence and its pyramid is now considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world. Immense, mysterious and charming, the city of Palenque in ruins is considered the most beautiful city conceived by the Mayans and one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world.
