[edit] Information
Documentary about Doug and Sandi Groves, who took on the challenge of raising two orphaned elephants, knowing that it would mean a lifelong commitment. Yet, not only did the Groves adopt these elephants, they chose to bring them up in the bush, mirroring a wild existence as much as possible. For Doug and Sandi, their "children" -- Thembi, Jabu and Morula (a teenage elephant rescued by the Groves' six years after they adopted the first two elephants) -- are truly their family.
