[edit] Information

Drowning has always been a peril of sea travel. Over the years there have been numerous inventions ranging from shoes to walk on water, to pedal powered buoys, to survival suits that did double duty as a suitcase created in an attempt to avoid this fate. The Re-Inventors will build and test some of these from the late 19th and early 20th centuries to see if any of them would have given a shipwrecked person a better chance of survival.
