The story of Dai Chant, the former coxswain of the St David's Lifeboat, who has since suffered a stroke. His son discovered that objects connected to the sea stirred up old memories, so helps him to return to the sea for the first time in 30 years, and to revisit the scene of his most terrifying rescue, when in 1989, a fishing boat lost control close to the rocks beneath the Bishop Rock Lighthouse.
