Fred, now a minor celebrity, buys another rusted wreck of a steam tractor and takes his family on holiday to Blackpool.

Fred buys his house, the family go to a steam rally, Alison and the girls go to Greece on holiday and Alison asks Fred for a divorce.

Left alone, Fred finds himself pursued by ladies but concentrates on his work.
